Hail the Evening Star—Aphroditē Anadyomenē, shining at the hour of return. From the deepening blue she kindles her gentle fire, she who binds sea and sky, flesh and longing. In her light the ancient spell is renewed, and the world remembers eros as a law older than stone, sung first by the heavens and answered by the soul.
As her star deepens in the western sky, the air grows hushed. Paths unseen are opened, hearts are loosened, and all that was bound by winter begins to soften. Where Aphroditē walks, even the cold remembers warmth, and the long-silent earth inclines itself once more toward love and becoming.
